We gather our little Roots & Rosebuds circle on an Olivenhain home ranch, where children spend their days close to nature, exploring, creating, and sharing a peaceful, joyful learning environment.

We are happy to gather on an Olivenhain ranch, surrounded by a nature preserve and a blank canvas for gardens galore.
The heart of our space is calm, peaceful, and joyous. Children gather by the prayer tree, move and stretch, enjoy yoga and play, meditate, share gratitude, and grow in a loving environment.
We welcome children into meaningful enrichment experiences rooted in nature, creativity, connection, and wonder. It brings us so much joy to make a place where children can feel peaceful, known, and free to be themselves.

Roots & Rosebuds
Four days to gather, grow, and belong.
We gather four days a week, giving children a familiar rhythm they can settle into, while leaving room for family, rest, and the unhurried time childhood needs.
Together we prepare and share lunch, care for our spaces, and practice the small acts that help a community feel like home. We want every child who joins us to feel seen, cherished, and truly loved.

Each week we set out together for a new adventure beyond the ranch. All ages are welcome, and children age 3 and under join with a caregiver.

Morning Stillness
We begin softly with breathing, simple affirmations, and a moment of gratitude. As each child shares something she is thankful for, we settle into the day together. Stories from Eastern and Western wisdom traditions gently plant seeds of kindness, courage, and wonder.

Planet
The Living Land
We step into the garden to water, compost, forage, or fill our nature journals. Together we slow down, use our senses, and notice the small wonders the living world is always offering.

Main Lesson Block
We share a theme for the day and weave it throughout the week with creative elements to keep learning as it's intended to be—filled with curiosity, wonder, and joy—meeting mathematics through shape, language through story, and science through hands-on discovery.

Shared Meal & Story
We gather for a shared meal, then settle in for a story—perhaps a myth, the life of a beautiful soul, or a nature tale chosen for the season.

Handiwork & Craft
We paint, draw, knit, play instruments, and learn new skills from visiting guest artists. As our hands stay busy, imagination opens and the quiet joy of making something beautiful takes root.

We make space to continue working on whatever is inspiring each child, or to play freely in our indoor and outdoor environments.
