Mrs Natalie Rose

ENRICHMENT LEAD

It brings me great joy to co-create a peaceful, joyful space where we can spend time and learn together at the homeschool ranch and on our weekly field trips. I feel grateful and honored to meet the dear ones who join us here. This is a wonderful community of heart- and soul-centered families. I would have loved to gather in a place like this when I was their age, and I’m so grateful I get to be part of it now! I am also deeply grateful for the support of our dear homeschool advisors, experienced in Waldorf & Montessori schooling and nature immersion.

Ms Katie

CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT

Naturally falling into teacher roles, Ms. Katie taught dance for ten years to students ranging from three to college level, then got the opportunity to homeschool a young boy during his first and part of his second grade years. After getting her RN license and teaching her patients about ways of healing, Ms. Katie learned about the power of writing after intuitively using the process on herself and started combining her science and art backgrounds. Currently, she facilitates writing workshop in the tutoring center at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, CA where she helps students connect to their intuitions through self-reflection, which can assist them in analyzing their life decisions. Ms. Katie is thrilled to be collaborating with Rose Enrichment and getting back to working with young students again.

Ms Tara

MUSIC ENRICHMENT

Ms Tara has been playing violin since she was six years old and has always found great solace, as well as deep connection to others, through music. A member of the Buffalo Suzuki Strings Friendship Touring Ensemble — including a 2015 concert tour of South Africa — she went on to teach private violin lessons, coach student chamber music groups, and assist early childhood Suzuki violin and viola classes. A kirtan leader and player in Encinitas (voice, harmonium, cymbals, bells, tamboura), she is also the violinist of the SoCal-based band Chakra Taal and an active member of the San Diego chamber music community. She loves joining this sweet homeschool circle, bringing kirtan instruments into the cozy space, and sharing the joy of music with the children.
