Weekly Homeschool Field Trips in Encinitas

Each week we wander beyond our Olivenhain home ranch to explore the living world around us — beaches, nature preserves, gardens, and farms across Encinitas and North County San Diego. These are gentle, unhurried mornings outdoors, and every family is welcome to join.

How it works

Simple, gentle, open to everyone

  • Every week

    A standing weekly outing, so the rhythm is easy to plan around.

  • All ages welcome

    Siblings, friends, and visiting family are invited to join.

  • Little ones

    Children age 3 and under attend with a caregiver by their side.

  • Small & unhurried

    We keep the group small so every child is seen and safe.

Field trips are open to families whether or not their child is enrolled in Roots & Rosebuds, our day program for ages 4–8. Reach out and we'll share the upcoming destination and meeting details.
